Northern Virginia Regional Older Adult Facilities Mental Health Support Team (RAFT)

Description

RAFT, The Regional Older Adults Facility Mental Health Support Team, is one of the programs of the Regional Projects Office in Northern Virginia. RAFT has been supporting older adults with mental illness and dementia for over 10 years. The RAFT Dementia Support Program provides free, short-term support to individuals living with dementia and their caregivers, through education, training, and resource coordination. Must be referred by a Northern Virginia Community Services Board (CSB).

Senior Adult Mental Health

Description

The Senior Adult Mental Health program provides mental health services for older adults, including counseling, consultations, assessments, and treatments. Services are available at home for home-bound individuals. Emergency services are available weekdays by calling 703–228–5160 and weekends by calling 703–558–2222.

Cost

Sliding fee scale based on income.
